Let's admit it right now: I am hopelessly old school. I believe in hard work and never giving anything but my best effort. But that's not enough.

Law practice in today's business environment, particularly in a place like rural Virginia, makes it hard to deliver quality results without efficiency and focus.

After many years of dividing my practice between trial work and several types of office practice, it became clear to me that delivering my best effort demanded that I focus on only what I do best, which is advocacy and problem solving. This law firm was born from that vision.

Clients will find that my new practice, now limited to civil litigation and fueled by the latest in client support technologies, means quicker results at a lower cost. These changes mean that I can now focus on doing things the way that I learned long ago.
I also believe in listening to clients, to the needs of a case and always to common sense. My old-school self also spends a lot of time reading and listening to accepted wisdom, such as the quotes on these pages, which inspire me to be the best I can be for my clients.

Let's get to work solving your problems right now.
Character is a disciplined and educated will
